Home Companion Services

Companion Service- The main goal of our companion caregiver is to ensure a safe environment for you or your loved one. A companion may assist with phone calls, engage in friendly conversation, accompany on short walks, complete light housekeeping and meal preparation. Companions may also provide a helpful reminder for self-administered medications, and run errands such as grocery shopping. In addition, a companion may provide transportation to a physician or recreational activity.

Homemaker Service- Our homemaker service includes all of the Companion Services plus- dusting of furniture, washing floors, washing dishes, and changing bed linens, cleaning of bathrooms, watering plants and vacuuming.

Personal Care Assistants- Our personal care assistants provide all of the homemaker/companion duties in addition to providing assistance with bathing, dressing and toileting. A “PCA” can also help to ambulate from place to place such in and out of bed and to and from sitting and standing positions.

Live-in Companion- Our live-in companions provide all of the above services on a 24-hour basis. The live-in service is available for at least two consecutive days in a row per week, and up to seven days if requested.

Additional Services: TLC Homecare will gladly place orders for your home non-medical supply needs such as incontinence care, commodes, walkers and latex gloves. These items can be shipped directly to your door for privacy and convenience!
